He screwed up. He meant to say 232 years (as he did in his acceptance speech when he got the nomination back in August--look it up), but the next paragraph had the phrase "21 months," and he just got confused because the teleprompter only gives him the words in the right order, it can't make him any more literate.

That's nothing compared to the gaffe he made during his grip 'n' grin with the Indians yesterday after the Ft. Hood shooting. Honestly...a "shout-out"??? What's next: "Yo' Mr. Speaker, Imma let you finish, but Barney Frank had the best filibuster of ALL TIME! Word to ya mutha, for rillz! Oh, by the way, terrorists blew up the St. Louis arch, hundreds are dead, and boo hoo hoo. Next on TRL, the latest from P-Diddyyyyyy!"

I really like this posting, as it took me into the journey of knowing more about American history. I might hate Math, but while reading to this posting, I also did some "simple Math calculation" to find the year that Obama referred on his speech, :)

This article is a great summary of Brazil. As a college student who will soon be studying abroad in Brazil, I've been able to gain insightful information from reading this piece. I look forward to reading more pieces as such!
